You are looking at a bulk, cell recovery lot of lithium ion battery packs as pictured, with each pack containing 40x super high energy and power LG MJ1 3.7V 3500mah 10a cells. With the 6 packs included in each sale, each order will include 240x cells for your next project! These battery cells are one of the best cells on the market for energy density to power ratio and are strong enough for electric scooter, skateboard, electric bike, powerwall, generator, or vehicle applications. They are perfect for your battery pack requiring high performance, high energy density, and high discharge (c) ratings. Each order will include ~3kwh of energy capacity once you remove the cells and build them into your custom pack. The packs were purchased from surplus electric bicycle packs that have defective BMS boards, so they cannot produce power through the existing ports. You would need to do some work to piece the packs down to the cell level and rebuild into your own pack with your own BMS board (not included). The packs are in 10s4p configuration. You can salvage them as a module or break down to cell level. Cells have all tested near full capacity. We did not figure out the BMS, it is proprietary, and these modules are for salvaging the cells inside only. Most cells have been stored at ~2.8V, which is contributing to their excellent capacity. Some of the packs may have slight prior use, but this is <10 cycles, and the cells can withstand over 1000 cycles without significant degradation. We are including a printout of the steps required to break the packs down inside each box. They come out cleanly even though the space between the holders and enclosure is filled with foam. The foam is easy to work with and much better than glue so don't be discouraged by the foam. The cells are clean and inside a completely enclosed shell. You'll need a T-15 security bit at least 1.5" long, any T-20 security bit, a flat head screw driver, and a plastic prying tool. You will need some elbow grease and time to get the cells free from the casings. All the tools required can be found at Harbor Freight, Amazon, Ebay, or likely already in your tool collection These packs are for disassembling and cell recovery. The BMS should be recycled and removed from the pack since it is proprietary. These are guaranteed genuine cells from a major brand and they even have the warning label on the shrink wrap. Cylindrical lithium-ion battery cells should never be used in e-cigarettes for vaping or other consumer devices that allow for the cell to be removed. Certain issues like mishandling by the consumer and broken or faulty springs and circuits can cause inherent dangers. Cylindrical lithium-ion cells are intended to be assembled into enclosed battery packs with protective circuitry. Each complete pack weighs ~6.5lbs.
